More rosaries

Yesterday's rosary sparked my interest in my older prayer beads. 

I stumbled across this oldie and decided to bring it back out and try to find a home for it. 

Prayer beads have been in use for over 2000 years!!! Many different cultures use beads and cord or wire to create of tool to help with prayer and meditation. 

I'm on a mission... To make a mission.

After volunteering to 'make' or cut out old cardboard boxes to make the walls for the missions of Southern California, I just couldn't bring myself to buy the pre-packaged fencing and associates at the local craft store....

So...I decided to paint wooden rods, cut them and wrap them with copper wire to keep the cows in... Or out, however they did it back then. 

I must be having school project withdrawals or maybe I didn't get all I could out of 4th grade. Either way, it's fun  and making me write about it :)

Rosary

I've been asked to make rosaries over the years for various reasons. 

This one is special. It's for my beautiful daughter. So of course it couldn't be a boring ole strand of prayer beads. 

This one has real pearls, handmade Bali silver beads and a diamond cross. 

Web, website, social media...head is not exploding...yet

Working on updating website and blogs and social stuff....


For some reason, all of this "social" stuff is not making me feel very social?!?!


LOL


Maybe if I let it sink in a bit, maybe the social juices will get flowing and what "they" say will actually be :)
