Jewelry - Making it work for me
I have been making jewelry for over 15 years. I have just decided that it has become a life long adventure and I am not quite sure where it is taking me. For now it is helping me more that I am helping it (if you know me, you know what I am talking about).
I love working with semi-precious stones, fresh water pearls, sterling silver & 14 kt gold. The colors and the shapes of the beads inspire my designs. The textures of the stones are also inspiring.

new site
The new site is http://www.rusticstarfish.com/
Since this type of site is new for me, please feel free to leave comments or ask questions.
Rustic: (according to Merriam-Webster)
a : of, relating to, or suitable for the country; rural
b : made of the rough limbs of trees
c : finished by rusticating
d : lacking in social graces or polish
Starfish: (according to Merriam-Webster)
1 : any of a class (Asteroidea) of echinoderms that have a body of usually five arms radially arranged about a central disk and feed largely on mollusks (as oysters) —called also sea star
Well, I suppose I should have actually looked up the word 'rustic' BEFORE I chose it for my company name, right? I do not live close to or near the rural country, nor do I make anything from rough limbs nor are my limbs rough. I do not know how to rustiCATE anything. I hope that I do not lack social graces and I do like to polish things. So why RUSTIC?
